Sometimes, it’s okay to take a pause and embrace the change
The rush of life often feels like an endless race, leaving us wondering when we can finally catch our breath. Transitions, whether from middle school to high school or from school to college, can be incredibly overwhelming. As we navigate these changes, life can become increasingly complicated.
"Change is the only constant in life," as Heraclitus wisely said, but that doesn't make it any easier to embrace. When we're in the midst of change, it often feels unsettling and unwelcome. Yet, it's through these transitions that we grow and discover new facets of ourselves. I have a deep appreciation for mathematics, especially calculus. What truly fascinates me is the study of change. I find the relationships and connections within it incredibly appealing.
Just as the changing seasons bring new experiences and diverse vibes, each stage of life, whether in school or college, offers unique lessons and insights. We must adapt our minds to these transitions, as they come with a series of chapters that teach us a great deal about ourselves. Through this journey, we discover our true preferences and dislikes, gaining a deeper understanding of who we are.
Remember, it's okay to feel overwhelmed. Take a moment to pause, breathe, and remind yourself that this too shall pass. Embrace the journey, for it's in these moments of change that we find our true strength and resilience.
Moving to a new country as an international student can be an exhilarating yet daunting experience. The rush of adapting to a new environment can make you feel like you're constantly in motion, never quite sure when you'll find a moment to pause. As an international student, I vividly remember the day I waved goodbye to my parents at the airport, embarking on this new journey. Despite the difficulty of that farewell, I know this change is necessary for my growth and to provide a future that honors everything my parents have given me. Reflecting on my journey, I realize how much I've grown and learned to handle things on my own. It's incredibly liberating. The sense of independence is truly amazing. I've discovered strengths I never knew I had and developed skills that have empowered me to face challenges with confidence. This journey of self-reliance has been both rewarding and transformative, making me appreciate the freedom and empowerment that comes with being independent.
However, it's important to remember that these transitions, while challenging, also offer opportunities for growth and new experiences. Embracing the journey, even with its ups and downs, can lead to personal development and a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.
I know it’s hard but trust me, it gets better. You will always figure out a way, find your own circle and everything willmake sense at the end. Sometimes, it’s okay to take a pause, maybe take yourself out to a coffee shop or go for adeclutter walk, reflect back to how far you came and embrace the change. That’s the beauty of life.
